The Kla-how-eya Culinary Arts students received passing marks in their St Johns Ambulance workshop on Thursday, November 15, 2007.  Peter Boast of the Safety Committee also joined us to attain his First Aid certificate.

We will be hosting a lunch on November 24, 2007 for the Canadian Special Olympic Soccer Team with Jay Laiter and all the other Gold medal winners! Congratulations on their victory Shanghai, China.

Low-income families in Surrey can register for food hampers and toys at the SCB office located at #104-10340 134A St. Registration hours are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon and from 1-3 p.m. Registration ends Dec. 14.

Gloria Wilson won the HSBC Aboriginal Scholarship for VCC and the ceremony was held at the Broadway Campus on Friday, November 16, 2007.  Gloria is a diligent student who is following her heart and working towards her dream to become a certified Red Seal Chef.
