The Kla-how-eya Culinary Arts students received passing marks in their St Johns Ambulance workshop on Thursday, November 15, 2007.  Peter Boast of the Safety Committee also joined us to attain his First Aid certificate.

We will be hosting a lunch on November 24, 2007 for the Canadian Special Olympic Soccer Team with Jay Laiter and all the other Gold medal winners! Congratulations on their victory Shanghai, China.

Fraser Health Authority:  Cultural Sensitization Workshop, November 16, 2007

Kla-how-eya hosted a workshop for the Fraser Health Authority at the request of Margaret Wilson, Manager, and Aboriginal health.  The workshop was very well attended by over 60 personnel from the Lower Fraser District.

Gloria Wilson won the HSBC Aboriginal Scholarship for VCC and the ceremony was held at the Broadway Campus on Friday, November 16, 2007.  Gloria is a diligent student who is following her heart and working towards her dream to become a certified Red Seal Chef.
